Getting Ready for your Portraits!!!
Be prepared for your senior portraits by looking and feeling your best!!! Here are a few tips:
- Be prepared the night before your session. Have your outfit ready to go, try your outfit out and do your ironing the day before your sitting.
- Get plenty of rest the night before. It's very difficult and expensive to retouch bags and dark circles from under the eyes. If you come in feeling your best you will look your best!!!
- Keep your hair styled the way you normally do. Changing your hairstyle specifically for your session ALWAYS leads to disappointment and a retake!!
- The background for your school yearbook has dark blue, grey and purple in it. Brown earthy tones and light tan clothing do not go well with it......For the Ladies, we suggest Dark long sleeves....a black sweater or dark blue looks the best for your formal outfit. For the Guys we suggest a dark jacket with shirt and tie for the formal pose.
- Please also check with your school as certain outfits may be mandatory for your yearbook pose.
- For any casual sessions you may wear what you like but we ask that you stay away from busy patterns as you always want the emphasis to be on you and specifically your face!!!
- Accessories for your casual poses are a must!!! Jewelry, scarfs, hats, sports equipment just to name a few items!!
